The Food Handler Certification Course

BacOff Food Safety & Hygiene Training and Consulting works in partnership with the City of Toronto Public Health and is fully accredited with Toronto Public Health to provide the Food Handler Certification program. Our certification training program is valid throughout Ontario.

Course and exam are in English. Students are required to read and understand the basic English language.

Courses are followed by exams.

Test results are available within 1 week.

Certificates are available within 2 weeks (a rush can be put on certificates when requested).

What is included in the course:

  • Course manual
  • Power point presentation
  • Interactive instruction
  • Practice/Review questions
  • Exam: immediately following course
    • 50 multiple choice questions
      (a mark of 70% is required to pass)
  • Food Handler Certificate for successful candidates
  • No Fail Policy: If the exam is failed it can be written again with no additional cost.
  • Toronto Public Health issued Food Handler Certification card.
